Have you ever wanted to buy a satellite dish for the free channels but didn't want to pay a big price for installation?  Do you really need a installer?  Are you able to install the system yourself?  What's involved?  

Now there is a revolutionary new system.  With our system, you don't need a installer.  Armed with a few hand tools, a compass and some common sense, you can align this system within 10 minutes.
  1. Choose a spot without any obstructions like trees or buildings.  The satellite signal will not pass through solid objects.  
  2. Install your mounting post making sure the upper portion of the mounting post where the dish will mount is perfectly plumb.  
  3. Assemble your dish and place it on the mounting post leaving it loose enough so that the elevation and azimuth can turn easy.
  4. Connect your coax both to the receiver and to the LNBF.
  5. Power your system at this time.
  6. If you haven't already gotten the cordinates for your satellite, do so now using the "Find Satellite" page.
  7. Make sure your Easy Signal Finder receiver is set on the channel you want to receive.
  8. Enter the menu by pressing "Menu" on the remote control.
  9. Press the down arrow on the remote to highlight "Installation" and press "OK".

     
  10. Press the down arrow on the remote to highlight "TP Scan" and press "OK".

     
  11. Select the Satellite, TP Frequency, Symbol Rate, and Polarity of your channel.

     
  12.  Now you are ready to start aligning your dish while watching the light on the LNBF.  When the light is RED it means there is no signal.  YELLOW light means signal but not locked.  GREEN light means signal locked.  The light will also flash.  The faster it flashes the better the signal.  
    1. Most dishes have a elevation scale on the side of the dish mount.  If your dish has a scale, set your elevation using the information you got from the "Find Satellite" page.  Snug the elevation bolts.  Do not over tighten the bolts since you will be making fine adjustments to the elevation.
    2. Point your dish in the direction of the azimuth given on the "Find Satellite" page using your compass.
    3. Very, very slowly move your dish right or left watching for a signal indicated by the light on the LNBF.  Pan about 20 degrees in both directions from the the compass setting.
    4. If you do not show a signal, move your elevation down 2 degrees and pan again.
    5. If you did not find a signal, repeat #4 again moving the elevation down another 2 degrees.
    6. If you did not find a signal, repeat #4 but this time move your elevation up above the original setting.  
    7. Easy Find LNBFAfter finding the signal, you will need to fine tune the dish and LNBF for maximum signal.
      1. Move your dish azimuth to the right and to the left until you have the best possible lock.  Snug the bolts.
      2. Move your dish elevation up and down until you have the best possible lock.  Snug the bolts.
      3. Turn your LNBF in the LNBF holder right or left until you have the best possible lock.  
    8. Carefully tighten down the bolts while watching the lock light.  You are now ready to watch satellite television.
Things to remember:
  1. Never force your dish, if it doesn't move easily loosen the bolts.  Forcing your dish can warp the reflector.  
  2. Post must be very plumb so your elevation reads correctly.
  3. During alignment, move your dish very very slowly.
